Why is Apple named Apple?

If you ever wondered why Apple Inc. is named apple and you googled the question you would get something like this-
But there is no actual answer to this question.When Steve Jobs came up with the name it was some thing like this- Apple Computer, Inc. but after they released the iPhone and iPod, they changed the name to Apple Inc.
to indicate that they are not just a computer manufacturing company.

 But this is not it. There are also other mysteries behind the logo of the company.
What you are seeing in the left is the first logo of Apple Inc. This probably shows
Sir Isaac Newton sitting beneath the famous apple tree thinking about gravity. Apple Inc. must have chosen this logo to show the people that they are also come up with various innovative ideas.


 


 Or may be it is trying to depict the famous Apple of Eden because of which we all are living here. Some belief that it is the shadow of Steve Jobs falling on an apple.
Maybe it is just a simple fruit which was drawn by Rob Janoff. Perhaps we will never know.
